CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that life happens and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice or no-shows will be charged 50% of the service total. This policy allows us to respect the time of our stylists and clients on our waitlist. Hi, I’m Maritza, the founder of Blond Bungalow. I’ve been doing hair for over 20 years, and I still love it just as much as I did when I started. I specialize in custom blonde color and hair extensions for fine hair—and I truly believe the right hair can change how you feel in your skin. I started my career in New York after graduating beauty school, but my journey with hair began back home in Colombia. Over the years, I’ve worked in high-end salons, trained as a Wella color educator, and spent countless hours learning how to create beautiful results without compromising the health of your natural hair. My focus today is helping women feel confident, whether that’s through natural-looking extensions, custom color, or hair loss solutions. I’m currently studying trichology and now offer mesh integration and other non-surgical options for clients dealing with thinning hair or alopecia. Blond Bungalow is a boutique studio in Berkeley where you can relax, be yourself, and walk out feeling like the best version of you. Whether you’re here for a lived-in blonde refresh or a hair restoration consultation, you’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you.
